Iver Jensen Rosenbladt (1877-1957), arrived with his parents, Jens Ludewig Rosenbladt and Anna Margrethe Magnussen, in 1892 (follow link to the left). His given name changed into Ever in the US (“Jensen” disappeared totally)

About 1905 he married Sarah Jane (Jennie) Perkins (1884-1966) in North Dakota, and they moved in as owners at her hereditary farm on Sector 30 at Highland Township, Guthrie County, Iowa, as her family had moved to North Dakota, assumedly to take over the farm of her grandfather. 1920 was her father – then widowed – back at Highland Township, living by another daughter, Alice (married to Clarence B. Hall), but also on Sector 30.

By 1946 Ever Rosenbladt was still registered as the owner of the property. He died 1957, and Jennie followed 1966. Their graves are at Highland Cemetery.

They had the following children: Fred Harold Rosenbladt (1906-1979), Helen Alice Rosenbladt (born abt. 1908) and Hazel P. Rosenbladt (born abt. 1909) – details follow below.

Fred Harold Rosenbladt (1906-1979), son of Iver (Ever) Jensen Rosenbladt (see above), lived at home on Sector 30 at Highland Township by the 1930 Census.

He had graduated from Bayard High School 1924, and about 1932 he married a classmate, Olive M. Phelps (1906-1989), who was also born at Highland Township.

Apparently they lived there, too, as Olive was registered as owner of 157 acres on Sector 17 in 1989 (still belonging to her heirs 2004), and both were buried at Highland Cemetery.

Living descendants, acknowledged or assumed, and their life events will not be published, unless they present their biographical information by themselves with permission to make such content public.

Helen Alice Rosenbladt (1907-1994), daughter of Iver (Ever) Jensen Rosenbladt (see above), lived at home on Sector 30 at Highland Township by the 1925 Census. She graduated from Bayard High School 1925. About 1929 she married the salesman Harold Everett Strauser (1902-1987), and they settled at Bayard.

Some time between 1954 and 1977 they moved Florida, where their deaths was recorded. They were, however, buried at Highland Cemetary.

Future enquiries may bring further details.

Hazel P. Rosenbladt (1909-2006), daughter of Iver (Ever) Jensen Rosenbladt (see above), graduated from Bayard High School 1926. About 1929 she married the barber Arthur M. Robinson (1908-1970), and they settled at Bayard.

Arthur died and was buried at Highland Cemetary, but Hazel's year of death was never entered onto their headstone, even if carefully prepared (just leaving two digits open after 19..). She didn't, however, die before next century, and then by their, probably sole, daughter in Nebraska!

Their daughter, Marjorie Louise Robinson (1929-2007), graduated from Bayard High School 1947, but was not found anywhere before her death at Omaha, Douglas, Nebraska (the same location, at which her mother died the year before) still using her maiden name, which may indicate that she never married, but future enquiries may bring further details.
